Farmers’ Markets at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities Campuses
The Minnesota Institute for Sustainable Agriculture and the Sustainable Agricultural Systems degree program have been instrumental in bringing local food to the University community on the St. Paul and Minneapolis—East Bank campuses.
MISA helped secure a new, on-campus location for the Falcon Heights Farmers’ Market.
The student-run organic farm on the St. Paul Campus, “Cornercopia,” supplies produce to the Falcon Heights market on the St. Paul campus, as well as the Church Street market on the Minneapolis campus.
Market dates and times: Falcon Heights Market Larpentur and Gortner Avenues 8 a.m. to 12:30 pm.
