The Community Design Center of Minnesota is starting a two-year project, funded by the Bush Foundation, to 1) develop new markets for fresh organic foods grown by small farmers in Southeast Minnesota; 2) identify new products that can be processed from organic foods produced in the area and approach new markets for these products; and 3) expand regional processing capacity for organic local food products.
