The Minnesota Institute for Sustainable Agriculture sponsors the "Healthy Debate" listserv as a forum for people to discuss their ideas and opinions regarding sustainable agriculture and its intersection with politics, society, and advocacy.
Healthy Debate is primarily a discussion and opinion listserv. If you want to join an information-only list about sustainable agriculture events, workshops, etc., please join our Sustag listserv.
Selected posts from the listserv will be re-posted to the Healthy Debate Blog.
Subscribers to Healthy Debate are asked to adhere to basic rules of online etiquette ("Netiquette"), as well as to the terms of participation for the national SANET discussion group. These will be enforced at the discretion of the list owner.
Healthy Debate is an unmoderated list, meaning that posts do not need to be pre-approved by a moderator. However, MISA staff will be reading all posts, and anyone engaging in personal attacks, slander, or general viciousness and abuse will be asked to tone it down or leave the list. We believe that keeping a civil tone to posts still leaves plenty of room for vigorous debate.
