How Can I Fund My Internship?

A number of internship hosts will offer stipends or hourly wages to interns. For hosts that do not offer funding to students a couple of options are available:

1. Undergraduates who are interested in conducting research for their internship can apply for UROP (Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program) funding. For more information check out the UROP website.
2. A number of university colleges and centers have internship funds that can be applied for:
   • College of Liberal Arts
   • Career and Community Learning Center
   • Institute on the Environment
3. With enough advanced notice a selected internship site can often apply for internship funding through CAP (Community Assistantship Program) at CURA (The Center for Urban and Regional Affairs). For more information check out the CAP website.
