We are starting our 12th year as a bio-dynamic community supported farm (CSA) offering vegetables over a 29 week season. We have 5 to 6 acres in vegetables each year. The 108 acre farm is surrounded on three sides by 395 acres of woods, spring fed stream and waterfall, oak savanna and prairie remnants with endangered or protected plant species.

We provide our own fertility for the gardens from composted cow, sheep, and chicken manure, striving for the biodynamic ideal of the self-contained organism. Our animals include Jersey cows for hand-milking, 12 wool breed ewes and a ram, 25 to 30 chickens. We commonly raise out 2 to 3 pigs each year and market pork and lamb to our members. We are mechanized in a manner common for growers managing five acres of mixed vegetables on a raised bed system. We have an extensive farm and nature education program with the gardens and farm as the center of most activities.
