6/10/2008 7:55 AMThe Women's Environmental Institute, located in North Branch, MN is seeking a dedicated candidate for a paid position as a coordinator for the North Circle Project (NCP).
NCP is an economic development program working to support family farms through the promotion of sustainable and organic agriculture and through the creation of a unique value-added processing facility and pilot project. An ideal candidate would be familiar with the North Branch area community and surrounding region and have great organizational and inter-personal skills as well as a basic understanding of farming, food processing, and community organizing. The position is supported by AmeriCorps VISTA and is available beginning in August. This position includes a living allowance, health benefits, and a financial award upon successful completion of one year of service.
