Guidelines for Subscribers

The Minnesota Institute for Sustainable Agriculture’s intent with the MNURBANFARMERS listserv is to provide a way for people engaged in urban farming activities to correspond with each other, ask questions, share resources and knowledge.

The purpose of the MNURBANFARMERS listserv is to be a discussion forum relevant to urban agriculture activities. Subscribers are asked to adhere to basic rules of online etiquette.

MNURBANFARMERS is an un-moderated list at this point, meaning posts do not need to be pre-approved by a moderator. If subscribers feel at some point that moderation is needed it can be added; however, it is hoped that that will be unnecessary. However, MISA staff will be reading all posts, and anyone engaging in personal attacks, slander, or general viciousness and abuse will be asked to tone it down or leave the list.

Other guidelines: MNURBANFARMERS is not intended to be used for advocacy action alerts or business advertising, nor for fundraising appeals.
